What DryRide uses

DryRide uses your precise location only to plan routes, score rain exposure along those routes, and refresh guidance while you ride. Location is used on-device for app functionality.

02

What leaves your phone

To return maps and forecasts, DryRide sends route and weather requests to Apple MapKit and Apple WeatherKit. Those services may receive destination queries, route coordinates, sampled route coordinates, arrival times, and approximate rain-check timing as needed to return directions or forecasts.

DryRide does not operate its own servers to store or share your location or destination.

03

What we do not collect

  • No accounts or rider profiles
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No cross-app tracking
  • No sale of personal data
04

App Store privacy label

DryRide declares Precise Location for App Functionality. Location is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.

05

Weather data

Weather forecasts are provided by Apple WeatherKit. Apple weather data is modified for DryRide route scoring. See Apple Weather legal sources ↗.
